Listening to: Dr. Dog - The World May Never Know

I started a dumpster fire today. A literal dumpster fire. Didn’t mean to: I put coals left over from a smoker in there (they looked completely cooled, I swear!), and tra-la-la-la-la, I went about my day. Ten minutes later, four police cars and a fire truck, and a lot of excited people.

I feel I should apologize to the earth for my contribution to its pollution. Sorry, earth! I will try and make it up with positive actions moving forward.

What I worked on:

  • Setting up my space. Cleaning, clearing out things that do not assist PJCC, and adding things that do. Trash-bound items from the last week of the schools I cleaned led to a BOON. Rolled-up paper for story boards, graphing paper, manila folders.
    • One thing I learned from working at the schools has been the positive effect of those posters they hang everywhere. So, I made a couple.
  • Quit my job, got a different one. I am aligning my life better toward my goals, namely, PJCC. I did not decide this lightly, but I did it confidently.

What’s next:

  • I am headed to New Jersey in a few days to celebrate my cousin graduating medical school. We are so proud of him.
  • PJCC-wise, I feel I am near a breakthrough but I don’t know what that is going to look like yet. But the work continues, mainly learning Blender.
